Sydney presented with all the symptoms of a bladder infection yesterday morning. Of course, she had been to the vet Friday night, and everything was fine. It’s just par for the course.

So, John takes the Squid to the vet.Of course by this time she’s feeling much better as she walks in the door announcing her presence with aroos and general Squidish shrieking. It’s her MO – small, loud, and proud.

Bladder infection is confirmed, antibiotics started. The Squid is already an improved woman this morning.

While at the vet, we find out the stool sample test came back on Laddie from his check up on Friday. He has some intestinal infection that is inherent in rabbit poop and will also go on meds. Our neighborhood is infested with rabbits, and this winter, our yard served as the rabbit toilet. I’m not surprised at the test outcome.

Macalester T probably also has the rabbit poop infection, but we haven’t been able to get a poop sample: he still won’t poop in front of us. So, since we have two dogs on meds, and a third that probably will need to go on meds, once the problem is identified.

The upside? This vet bill went on my husband’s credit card.
