Ever since the Club Scrap Retreat, I have been hopelessly addicted to chocolate. They just made it so … accessible. It was everywhere. All the time. Or so it seemed.

Back here at home, I have to go hunt for it. Which of course, results in major cravings. Oh, and the addition of five lbs. to my carcass. After losing ten. At least I still have a net loss. But I still want chocolate. Now.

Once upon a time, I didn’t even like chocolate. I call that time “my childhood”. Then I went to college. Where sweet little nuns would make little treats for us hard-working girls. Where the monks on Ice Cream Night would make sure to have several extra vats of chocolate and chocolate-mint ice cream on hand.

I blame the Benedictines for my habit. Ora et Labora — for chocolate. And then Labora, Labora, Labora to get it off my butt.
